yet again jumping on the goddess bandwagon, i thought this week's theme was perfectly ironic. a few weeks ago, abel proudly demonstrated his new move to me. i call it the "lay back." quite simply, you just slowly lower yourself from a sitting to a laying position. real hard, right?! but the boys thought this move was the coolest thing they had ever learned and it occupied a solid 30 minutes of our evening - both of them trying and perfecting it over, and over, and over again.
oz actually never quite got it. i think he was over-analyzing the mechanics of it. maybe tonight i'll let him study the footage and he can practice some more. because, as you can witness, it takes some pretty mad skilz to master this move:
